The "4VEP" as it became known were the last multiunit to be built by BR with manually closing doors built between 1967 to 1974 also known as the "Slam Door" stock. The fleet of 4VEPs had a lifespan of 38 years and in 2005 they were finally replaced by Electrostar and Desiro multiunits units. This set shows the elegance of the 4 car British multiunits.
